The hotel room was much better than I expected, although quite small, which made moving around a bit challenging with our luggage. The view overlooked an excavation site next to the hotel, and the room was very hot but perfect for the Christmas period.

The service at the hotel was fabulous, particularly with our child. The staff were friendly, although we missed out on a free shuttle bus to the local Hamam due to a lack of communication. They were extremely helpful and always greeted us warmly. They even assisted in contacting the airport and BA offices for us.

The location was superb, very close to the next Tram or Metro stop, surrounded by shops and restaurants. Additionally, it was conveniently located near the tram line, bus and ferry station, as well as iconic landmarks like Aya Sofia, the Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace.

The dining experience was a weak point during our stay. It was just okay on the low-end, and the fact that it was in the basement was a downside. We would have preferred dining in the rooftop terrace.

The hotel's rooms, though small, were very clean with enough space and offered a panoramic view of Istanbul, making it a great start to the day. The service, particularly the breakfast staff, was excellent and helpful. The location is perfect for exploring the old city and very near the tram stop, but the building itself seemed a bit run down. The dining experience was rich and varied, catering to all tastes, although the breakfast area could have been better. Overall, a good value for money option with friendly and auxiliary staff.
